Marilyn Monroe Hollywood Hen!

These fabulous ladies managed to bag a room in the schnazzy Westbury Hotel no less for Ms 'A''s Hen party. After braving Dublin traffic and being guided through the maze of one way streets by the lovely Bella - I arrived at the destination and was met with the most adorable bunch of women enjoying their cocktail class which was all organised by the Posh Fizz team. Quick wonder woman changeover -  all the ladies put on their Marilyn wigs and accessories for this shoot. The stunning Ms 'A' was thrown into poses all round with the gang to the tune of "I wanna be loved by you".  We managed to have a good giggle before the ladies whisked themselves off for dinner and drinks for the evening. Thanks to the Hotel for making the event run smoothly and being so accommodating!

Ms Roisin's Burlesque Hen party!

Here are some snippets from a recent Burlesque themed shoot we did for a great bunch of ladies.
They first had their makeup applied by the talented makeup team Theresa Danaher and Samantha Craughwell and then slipped into our dress up corsets and accessories.
They all looked amazing and you would never know that  Roisin had hurt her back a day prior to this shoot she could not bend down or up the poor thing. She still managed to pull off some sassy poses with the gang and plenty of laughs were had.

80's Themed Hen - coz 'Girls just wana have fun'!

Last weekend brought back such nostalgia from the 80's it makes me want to have a hen all over again. These fab cork ladies were all kitted out in their 80's attire with hair backcombed/curled and coloured and streaked and all the makeup and accessories down to a tee. They let Posh fizz organise everything for them the weekend and even managed to get up to the Galway races all glam the day before our shoot. As the weather was dull but nice and warm we opted to hit the beach and have some fun after taking some shots at the accommodation. This was also all decked out with 80's style stuff!
The colours looked amazing against the grey skies and the ladies had no problem strutting their stuff when prompted even when their heels were sticking in the sand!

Here are some shots!

Ms A's Hollywood Glamour Hen!

The sleepy town of Craughwell would not have known what hit them when these hot ladies arrived at their homely accommodation! A new one for us at Boudoir Girls  - we have been all over but not ever in Craughwell for a shoot!? Handy location quiet house (which did not stay quiet for long) and lots of Hollywood style posters hung up for inspiration. Ms' D' planned the whole makeover as a surprise for the Hen and ran the hen activities like the perfect military operation -
Theresa Danaher provided the makeover for our stunning Hen Ms' A' -  Teamed with her own beautiful black dress, earings and some of our props from the dress up box we pulled off the perfect punchy Hollywood style shots they were after.  (PETA can relax - The 'mink' fur is faux btw!!)
We could not have done it without the amazing cooperation and posing of our would be models! They looked amazing and totally pulled together the look so well in their outfits and makeup. Really enjoyed this shoot - here are some snippets from the day of the fab ladies.

Loved these images so much it was so hard to choose between colour and Black and White!
Below are some more amazing ladies from the day.

Emma's Retro style hen party in Galway!

Orla organized this Retro Hen party surprise for her pal Emma at the carlton hotel suites in Galway recently.
Lucky for us the weather was holding fast for some outdoor shots as we were dying to show off the beautiful dresses and brollies in their full glory!
For starters the amazing makeup team Theresa Danaher and Sandra Gillen made the girls over in style - liquid liner,  red lipstick and fake lashes were the order of the day. The girls all came in their own ensembles and I could'nt help but gasp once I saw Emma become a doppelganger for 'Bernie Dexter' one of our favourite  internet retro lingerie models! As each girl came in she was transformed into a cute bombshell - The lads would not be able to resist a flutter of these lashes ....!
Once the makeup was complete we set up some studio style shots in the bedroom . We are used to working in challenging spaces so it was handy that the suites had some interconnecting rooms - perfect for the rest of the gang to admire the makeovers and have a glass of bubbly while waiting.
Once our one- to- one shots were over we did some tongue in cheek bedroom ones complete with retro phones, hairbrushes and mirrors from our dress up box  and also some outdoor shots on the deck.
The stunning retro bride to be!

The girls could not have been nicer and totally got into their alter egos for the cheesecake posing (not easy if you have never done it!! ) Well done ladies you totally pulled it off ! x

Rachels Black and white Theme Hen party!

Rachel and her posse travelled up to Dublin to celebrate her hen party. The theme was black and white and I have to say her shoes were one of the first things I noticed...zebra print tooooo coool (me want!)
The bridal party had ties on so I was able to differentiate them and there was even a lad thrown into the mix for good measure. I couldn't have missed him with the red mowhawk and fair play he posed with the rest in style! Some of the props the girls brought included a large inflatable phallus which made it's way into some images for fun...Here are some snaps taken in 'Copper Alley' nightclub before the gang hit the town.

The sexy hen !

Paddy's day Hen Shenanigans!

It was green all the way on Paddy's day -
we left a rainy Galway for the sunny south to catch up with a Hen party from Kerry! Colleen and the gang arrived to the 'Towers Hotel' in Glenbeigh for their photoshoot - T-shirts printed the whole shebang! What a great bunch they were. As they were hopping off the bus they ended up being the main attraction in the town not the parade that had just passed!
Lots of fun , props and even some dodgy piggy backs were had on the day - we managed to capture some studio looks and also have a blast outdoors. Here are some shots taken from the shoot.

"That" Birthday shoot!

Introducing the original 'Bree' from Desperate housewives, my friend Annie. No one manages to juggle 4 kids, running a creche, baking, cleaning cooking (the list goes on) like our Annie.
She whisks up culinary delights on her Aga and still manages to look like a million dollars I don't know how she does it but she does! Celebrating her recent Birthday in style with a shoot showcasing her love for her brand new...wait for it  black patent 'Laboutins' (did I spell that right?)
We also incorporated her personality a bit as we all know Annie loves 'Mayo the team' Christmas, retro dresses, pretty shoes and her Aga of course!

Boy were the new shoes broken in well on Saturday night in Greenfields with classic 80's hits courtesy of Ronaldino (aka Ronan Lardner) We are all still recovering....
Great night, great company and great memories.
Here are some shots from the desperate housewives shoot  - perfectly personifying our Annie!
