Popstars Hen party Galway!

I love it when a group of hens put huge effort into their outfits. This was the case with our popstars Hen party for Ms Kirana last summer . She was Madonna and all her buddies came as different pop stars. There was Lady gaga, katy perry, Spice Girls, Posh, Marilyn, Amy winehouse, cheryl, Jlo etc even a Miss piggy!.
We had a great shoot in the Victoria Hotel Galway and everything ran like clockwork under the careful planning of Jenni in Posh Fizz:  posh fizz on facebook
we had such a giggle posing along to the relevant tunes and they looked just fab - everyone got really into character.
Great idea as an icebreaker for your hen party as everyone has such a laugh at the costumes. It does not even have to be expensive to pull off! We provide several props for this theme - you can come in any costume that you like.

"That" Birthday shoot!

Introducing the original 'Bree' from Desperate housewives, my friend Annie. No one manages to juggle 4 kids, running a creche, baking, cleaning cooking (the list goes on) like our Annie.
She whisks up culinary delights on her Aga and still manages to look like a million dollars I don't know how she does it but she does! Celebrating her recent Birthday in style with a shoot showcasing her love for her brand new...wait for it  black patent 'Laboutins' (did I spell that right?)
We also incorporated her personality a bit as we all know Annie loves 'Mayo the team' Christmas, retro dresses, pretty shoes and her Aga of course!

Boy were the new shoes broken in well on Saturday night in Greenfields with classic 80's hits courtesy of Ronaldino (aka Ronan Lardner) We are all still recovering....
Great night, great company and great memories.
Here are some shots from the desperate housewives shoot  - perfectly personifying our Annie!

Dishy housewives in Cork!

Lisa had a shoot organized with the help of her trusty bridesmaid Susan in Cork! With lovely weather we were lucky to be able to shoot outdoors (lights and all) for the individuals and get some group shots in Susans lovely black and white kitchen - The girls were great craic and well up for some 'dishy housewives' frolics 'Boudoir Girls' style! Makeup was by the fab Ms Elaine O Callaghan who is based in Cork. x

Kate's Retro Housewives Hen!

Desperate housewives had nothing on this gang!  We had 8 hotties all dressed in retro outfits and I supplied the props and gloves. Kate our beautiful hen had a costume custom made for her which was a take on Katy perry's outfit in the hot and cold video! Brilliant! As with a lot of our hens she was surprised with this shoot by her lovely sister (Jenny from the block ;)) and I have to say the weather in Kenmare was just fab! Blessed. The Music was a lovely medley the girls had put together for Kate of dirty dancing and all sorts of rocking' tunes! It really does make it more fun and personal with these little extras. Makeup was done by Ann-Marie a native to the area in a pin-up style.   Here are some shots from the day.

Our Kate rocked it better!
Fun in the kitchen!

Sarah's Hen!

I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely bunch of girls recently who surprised Sarah with this fun 'mini-cosmo' shoot at the Carlton Hotel. I was greeted with a lovely gang all dolled up in killer 'LBD's' except for Sarah who wore a beautiful pink dress. I supplied the props except for the flowers who were brought by Miss 'M' her sister. With Rhianna blaring we got to work posing and giggling and as you can see the girls turned out fabulous in their shots. Big thanks to The Carlton who are an ideal hen venue and always accommodate us 'Boudoir Girls' on our shoots. xxxxxxx

Hens at the House Hotel

Had a lovely shoot on March 5th at the lovely House Hotel in Galway with a fab bunch from Cavan, Armagh, Dublin etc! Fantastic to see that a group of girls who stayed in touch since college have all come together again for Charlene's Hen party. That's real friends for you....
As it was a surprise we had to keep mum about the operation until the day when we ambushed her in the lobby. This was, her sister tells me right up her street . Costumes were brought so the girls could dress up and we carried out the shoot and makeovers in the various pretty rooms in the hotel. The curtain made such a pretty backdrop for the pics that I did not use my own. We finished off with a group shot in the lobby of the hotel - all the girls dressed to impress and getting many admiring glances along the way!! Even 'mama M' who's birthday it was that day, donned a top hat for the pictures with style!!
Makeup was skillfully applied on the day by Theresa Danaher and Tricia Kenneally!

Hens and the Hummer!

Had a blast with these ladies who came all the way from the North for a photo shoot with us in the Ardilaun Hotel in Galway. The weather was blustery and rainy unfortunately but the spirits were high! These gals travelled in style all the way to Galway in a HUMMER! Here I was waiting to get the shots of them inside the Hummer when the driver was unable to swing the car into the gates of the hotel due to the size of it! Some traffic chaos later the ladeez had to hop ship and walk down with luggage in tow to the reception, brollies blowing but in fits of laughter. Managed to grab a shot of the hen Ms 'B' on her way in even though she had NO CLUE as to why I was there snapping her like the papparazi! The penny dropped a short time later when she was led into the room greeted with Bubbly, goodies (the girls brought a menagerie of sweets and chocolates and yummy things!) and her own photo studio with two makeup artists waiting to transfom her! A bit of drinking, makeup and posing ensued and eventually we got the group shots of the gang before they headed out to 'The city' to make their mark. I could not say enough good things about the Ardilaun who attended to our every whim and helped me carry out and in my gear. (Managed the shoot with a creak in my neck!?)  They are well set up for hen parties and could not have been more obliging. Big thanks also to Theresa Danaher and Trish Kenneally on makeup duties and of course the lovely ladies who made the event so much fun. Thanks for booking us Ciara x
Check out the cute shoes!

Hen party photoshoot cork with Boudoir Girls

We had a blast last weekend at the beautiful Inchydonny beach in Cork. Aoife managed to orchestrate the whole Hen party shoot as a surprise for her sister. As it was taking place on the beach we opted for a sexy retro Nautical Theme with a sexy but fun element using a few props . All girls had their makeovers applied by the talented Elaine O'Callaghan and Amanda Greene. We shot the first set against a nice blue backdrop in their apartment and then skipped down to the beach where there were many admiring glances from the surf dudes. Three of these were delighted to stand in for a shot with the gorgeous babes! Who could resist......?
Great fun was had by all and thankfully we were blessed with beautiful sunshine and blue skies. Not your typical Irish summer!!
