Warrior girl photoshoot

Sometimes it'sa treat to 'get down and creative' with a good hair and makeup team. Inspired by some images online and a sprinkling of 'Game of Thrones' I wanted to create a warrior/mad max style girl shoot and use some of our more boho/tribal accessories to different effect.
  Liz owner of 'Sizzors Wizards' did the amazing transformation on the girls hair plus she styled Jessie's outfit for me and manhandled her horse Star  on the shoot which was great! Jessie's hair went from being natural blonde/brown to having crazy extensions platted and weaved in for a real wild but cool effect!
 I styled Stacy who had a beautiful red tone in her hair that tied in with the fur I had brought. Tribal Jewellery was by 'primark' (where would we be without Penneys!) Including the feather earring in her hair.

We also had the pleasure of shooting with a beautiful bird of prey from Dromoland School of Falconry

( 061 368144 )and they also supplied us with the cool crossbow! I have to say it was lovely to do something a bit different from our everyday looks and work with the beautiful animals too!

Melissa Healy did a fab job on the makeup for Jessie and Stacy giving the eyes a real pop with the black and the blues and reds. Indian/outdoor boudoir styled photoshoot

Making use of the sunshine in Galway recently I had was excited to style an outdoor boudoir shoot  with the stunning Sian Murphy (Catwalk Models) . I have worked with Sian before so I knew this look would suit her amazingly well. Sian is available for modelling and promotional work you can contact her on murphysian88@yahoo.ie
The makeup look was created by Fiona Coyne of Heaven Scent in Galway 091 567192
Hair Length was achieved with one of our black hairpieces ideal for adding volume also! These are a sneaky option for boudoir shoots also to give that 'big' hair' or 'long hair' effect in an instant.
The skirt and shawl were sourced in Amsterdam ..I also came by an authentic Navaho Indian headpiece which is great for anyone looking to try out this look on a boudoir/outdoor shoot (big thanks to Paddy and Jill for this!I love it ! )
The faux Teepee was built with some timber adorned with lace and fur and I borrowed my daughter Veda's dreamcatcher too!
Brenda Bradley (of BH hair studio ) managed to be passing by..spotted us and hauled some of these bits from my car boot with me..thanks Brenda! We sure got some funny looks from passers by!

Boho chic girlfriends shoot.

Boho is a big look this year and is something I have recently been asked to do a bit more with the glamping activities on offer etc.
Jade, Alana and Aoife are all in leaving cert and studying hard so it was nice to do something a bit fun with them and of course trendy incorporating some fab clothing by Fiona (Jades fashion loving mom and a dear friend who fills me in on what's what in the fashion world lol! ) We shot the VW Beetle van which is  a firm favourite for brides across the country and made its TV appearance on 'Don't tell the bride' a while back. ( Costello's Buses Corofin )
Our second location was in the forest for a more 'children of the forest'/Hippy  vibe but overall we wanted to capture some fashion style images of the girls just having a bit of fun but looking good all the same!
This look can also be incorporated into your hen party if wanted..we can supply the props and accessories you come with some festival chic clothing...'simples'!
The three ladies did amazing on their first shoot and were such a joy to work with.

Shahira Barry hits the papers again!

I recently had the chance to shoot with the amazing Shahira Barry a homegrown beauty with her sights on stardom! Judging by her previous experiences in the US I hold out high hopes for her . She managed to appear in several music videos and receive a personal open invite to the playboy mansion from none other than Hugh Heffner . Amazing feat in the space of a year! It is also great to see someone flying the Irish flag in the US so get behind her everyone!!
Here are some images from our shoot and we were delighted to see some coverage in the Mirror yesterday on her with one of our pics! YAY!  'Hef' will be adding this to his scrapbook no doubt :)
This will give you ladies some Valentines inspiration too... love shooting fun glamorous shots for boudoir books and they certainly go down a treat with the 'other halfs'!
