Hens and the Hummer!

Had a blast with these ladies who came all the way from the North for a photo shoot with us in the Ardilaun Hotel in Galway. The weather was blustery and rainy unfortunately but the spirits were high! These gals travelled in style all the way to Galway in a HUMMER! Here I was waiting to get the shots of them inside the Hummer when the driver was unable to swing the car into the gates of the hotel due to the size of it! Some traffic chaos later the ladeez had to hop ship and walk down with luggage in tow to the reception, brollies blowing but in fits of laughter. Managed to grab a shot of the hen Ms 'B' on her way in even though she had NO CLUE as to why I was there snapping her like the papparazi! The penny dropped a short time later when she was led into the room greeted with Bubbly, goodies (the girls brought a menagerie of sweets and chocolates and yummy things!) and her own photo studio with two makeup artists waiting to transfom her! A bit of drinking, makeup and posing ensued and eventually we got the group shots of the gang before they headed out to 'The city' to make their mark. I could not say enough good things about the Ardilaun who attended to our every whim and helped me carry out and in my gear. (Managed the shoot with a creak in my neck!?)  They are well set up for hen parties and could not have been more obliging. Big thanks also to Theresa Danaher and Trish Kenneally on makeup duties and of course the lovely ladies who made the event so much fun. Thanks for booking us Ciara x

What's on offer at the Wedding Fair?

Boudoir Girls are really looking forward to teaming up with Heaven Scent this saturday at the House Hotel for this exclusive Hen and Wedding Expo. Many select vendors will be offering discounts and competitions including ourselves. We will be offering discount flyers on the day for all you Ladies for Boudoir and Makeover shoots should you wish to treat yourself (or him!) You will be able to see some of our corsets, wigs and accessories on the day - the stand will be very girly indeed! I will be bringing along the camera and some lighting for those who wish to have a portrait taken after their makeover and a cocktail at the bar! The house hotel is a Boutique styled venue which is why we love it. It is ideal for photographing in from my perspective and a beautiful cosy and feminine place to have a drink with 'the girlies'! Enclosed are some promo snaps I took  for the event. The stunning models were Mary Lee, Sinead Lally and Victoria Stephens. Thanks to Costello's for bringing down the beautiful Beauford car which was perfect for the theme. (Classy Wedding\Fun and classy Hen!) Also thanks to Margaret in the hotel who ran uptown for the beautiful bouquet and Rococo for the loan of the stunning pink dress. The other wedding dress is VERA WANG ladies how careful we were that day with it! ;)

Ladies night!

Here are two fab women that decided to have a weekend of shopping and beauty for themselves in Galway. The amazing Sandra Gillen and myself arrived at the Ardilaun hotel with our gear and set to work in the room! We had some giggles and chats and dressing up while Sandra worked her magic. I then photographed them both individually and as a two-some.  Here is a peek at the 'after' shots - well done ladies ye were a blast!

Pin- up and Boudoir calendar girls!! Swit-swooo

Here are some sneaky peeks from our Boudoir and pin-up marathon over the Christmas period. Each girl had a different theme per month which included everything from Santa outfits to football jerseys. Stockings to fur coats - you name it we squeezed it all in in one day! Some shots have been cropped to preserve modesty of course as we have to leave a bit to ye're imaginations! You will see a very special one crop up around Halloween as she has agreed to be our 'Miss October' 2011. Love to be able to show how fab they all looked even though this was the tip of the iceberg. Fair play girls ye were great craic and I'm glad to hear there were happy husbands and boyfriends this year!!

Boudoir Session Ms 'M'!

One of our recent Boudoir sessions was with this inspiring lady who decided to surprise her husband with a 'Boudoir Book' for Christmas. Not only this but she managed to lose 3.5 stone  (and counting!) prior to this shoot with hard work and determination!! Margaret spends her time helping other women to lose weight with her 'Lighter Life' program and she is setting the ideal example for women to show what can be achieved with a little encouragement and the right help.  Having a makeover and photo session was her treat to herself and her husband for all the hard work she put in and I think you will agree she looks amazing.  Enclosed are a selection of shots from the ten page album.

Christmas Boudoir and pin-up frolics

What a Christmas we had here at Boudoir Girls HQ. Lots of amazing women gifting their husbands with Boudoir /pin-up sessions and some Calendar fun which I will give a sneak preview of in my next post. Had an amazing promo shoot with 'Hector' from 2fm over the christmas also but obviously not in the boudoir sense. Hen party photo shoot in the Radisson Hotel Galway

I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely bunch of ladies from Meath recently. We had a lovely room to ourselves in the Radisson hotel and the girls were not long getting into posing mode! Ms Siobhan was sporting the biggest 'Rock' on her finger that I had ever seen. As you can see from her shots she will make a stunning bride!!
