Vintage Sailor girls in college road!

I recently had a shoot with a lovely bunch of ladies who wanted to try the vintage pin-up style shoot. Emma organized the whole event with accommodation and all at the 'Amber lodge B+B' in college road. Jenny who is managing it was such a great help to me on the day I have to thank her for set up assistance! The chalets on basement level are surrounding a bubbling hot tub on a lovely timber deck. Ideal for sipping champagne and kicking back after a hard days shopping ladies! This was part of our setting for the outdoor shoot.(well priced accommodation for those on a budget and yes it's walking distance to town!)
Here is a peek at some shots of the fab girls.
Ships ahoy! (note the class hot tub behind them!)

Donna's Hen

Donna got the surprise of her life recently when Amanda her trusty bridesmaid literally sprung a sunday morning shoot at their accommodation in Sligo! As I was informed that Donna always looks her best the girls said she would be well up for it. As you can see she certainly got into character and everyone was looking so glam (yes we are talking about the morning after the wild night before so well done on that one ladies! I was warned to airbrush out any eyebags but in all honesty they looked great to begin with!

Mel and the gang!

Mel booked a hen party photo shoot with me recently in Galway at the Imperial Hotel. These girls were well up for the craic and had a selection of devil accessories with them all prepared! We tried out a few
looks and fun scenarios including the popular Boudoir Girls ' Dishy Housewives' theme! Well done girls on surprising the lovely bride to be and on the posing!
Cheeky devils!

Danny does come dine with me!!

I'm sure anyone who is anyone will be tuning in for our fix of 'come dine with me' tonight. Our friend and neighbor Danny will be featuring on this Galway episode so excitement is high!  It was so great to see the exposure Danny is getting in all the papers especially my mad hatter shot of him in today's daily Mirror (not boasting ahem but it was great to see it nonetheless even though the buggers didn't credit me!)
He is also in the TV section in that paper!
Danny has been on the comedy circuit for some time now so it will be great to see what humor he will bring to the show. The mojito's will be out all week how will we cope.... ;)
GOOD LUCK DANNY!

Taken in 'Born' Galway - our favorite shop EVER! Decor clothes and yummy things under one roof!

This is the original prize winning shot I did in Born with Danny as he really is a mad hatter!

sailor girls hit the carlton..

have to say this is the first time I got the chance to photograph a hen in a swimming pool area. Boy was it hot  in there and these ladies were smokin! Michelle had planned her hen with the sailor theme for the girls and they also brought along some props for fun. I'm sure there were a few eyebrows raised in the pool area which added to the craic. Outside we managed to steal a few shots on the decking which was lovely. The girls even did a faux tug-of-war with a scared Michelle in the middle!!
Having the craic
Tug - o -war
pool side fun!

mama knows best!

Had great fun with this gang in the pillo  hotel in Galway. All the moms and aunts came too.
As they did not know what to expect I'm sure you can imagine their faces when they saw lots of
kitchen props and rubber gloves. The moms got to reenact some fun scenes with the rolling pin and their
daughters (we all remember coming home late from the disco as a teenager ahem!)
We also got to use the luggage trolley and other props at our disposal for a great laugh! Well done
Maria for managing to keep it from the hen until I actually arrived!!! ;)

Hens hit Ennis in style

Joanne had her hen planned for her by her friend Sandra. Sandra managed this covert operation all the way from England! The girls were all kitted out by the time I got to them in funky wigs and accessories. I will never forget seeing a 'marge simpson' coming my way...brilliant!
After posing the girls on the bridge in Ennis and catwalking around Ennis - they enjoyed a nice afternoon of drinks outside (yes the sun came out!) and another night on the tiles. Yeehaw!
 Marge!!
Check out the girls in the reflection...:)

Working those wigs!
Bottoms up!!
Take that Tyra Banks!
